Boarding Requirements

• One (1) printed copy of the eTicket Itinerary Receipt
• Passenger’s Valid ID*
• Arrive at terminal 3-4 hours before departure. Boarding gates close 1 hour before departure.

2GO Travel reserves the right to refuse boarding if passengers cannot present these documents upon request.

Check-in Process

1. Arrive at the check-in counter at least four (4) hours before departure. Boarding gates close one (1) hour before departure.
2. Passengers will be requested to present their printed ticket, valid ID* with photo, and any required documentation. If terminal fee for voyages Manila port out is not yet included, please pay at the counter.
3. Check in any excess baggage at the 2GO Excess Baggage Counter.
4. Enter the terminal and undergo security screening.
5. Present tickets at the terminal, and wait for boarding announcement at the designated gate.
6. Board the vessel.

Special Passengers

Passengers who may need special assistance require certain documents, and may be entitled to certain discounts.

Senior Citizens

Senior Citizens are passengers aged 60 years old or above. They may be entitled to a special discount.

General Guidelines

• Senior Citizens are suggested to travel with a legal-aged companion, and to bring a medical certificate stating they are fit to travel.
• They may be subject to a medical assessment by the Vessel Doctor or Nurse on the day of departure.
  
  • It is within discretion of the Vessel Doctor or Nurse if the passenger is fit to travel and will be allowed to board.

Senior Citizen Discount

• Passenger must present a valid ID* to avail of the discount.
• The 20% Senior Citizen discount applies to Base Rate only. Promo fare will not be given a Senior Citizen discount.
• However, the 12% VAT will be deducted from the promo fare.

• The Senior Citizens discount is applicable to Filipino Nationalities only.

Failure to present the required ID will forfeit the discount and ticket will have to undergo Revalidation with applicable surcharges and fare difference if any.

Pregnant Passengers

Pregnant passengers may be permitted to board if age of gestation is between 4 to 22 weeks (1 to 5 ½ months).

General Guidelines

• Pregnant Passengers are not required to have an accompanying attendant if:
  
  • Passenger is at least 18 years old.
  • Passenger is not traveling with infants or minor passengers.
• Passenger may be subject to a medical assessment by the Vessel Doctor or Nurse on the day of departure.
  
  • It is within discretion of the Vessel Doctor or Nurse if the passenger is fit to travel and will be allowed to board.
• Pregnant Passenger will not be allowed to Travel if pregnancy is high risk or if age of gestation is 24 weeks (6 months) and above.

Documents required for Travel

• Medical certificate indicating “Fit to Travel”
• Signed Consent and Waiver Form
• Ticket marked “Passage Granted” by Vessel Doctor

Infants

Infants are passengers aged at least one (1) month old but below two (2) years old. They are entitled to a special fare.

General Guidelines

• Infant must be accompanied by parents or legal guardian and must share a bunk or room with them.
  
  • Maximum of two (2) infants are allowed per adult passenger.
  • If more than two, Child Rate shall be applied. They must travel with another accompanying adult.
• If an infant is below six (6) months old, they must be cleared by the Vessel Doctor or Nurse on the day of departure.
  
  • It is within discretion of the Vessel Doctor or Nurse if the passenger is fit to travel and will be allowed to board.

Documents required for Travel

• Proof of age or affinity (i.e. Birth Certificate, Baby Book, etc.)
• Ticket marked “Passage Granted” by Vessel Doctor

Infant Special Fare

Infants will be charged Php 500.00 fare per travel, VAT inclusive.

• Not entitled to free baggage.
• Infants who paid a Child Rate are entitled to 50kg free baggage allowance.

Unaccompanied Minors

Unaccompanied Minors (UM) are passengers whose age is between eleven (11) to below eighteen (18) years old. To board, UM must be authorized by 2GO to travel alone.

General Guidelines

• Minors below eleven (11) years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  
  • They will be endorsed to the Boarding Officers where the parent or guardian will be required to sign the Unaccompanied Minor Waiver Form.
• UM must be accompanied by an adult to the origin port and give satisfactory proof that another adult will meet the UM at destination port.
• Upon arrival at destination port, UM will be released to the designated guardian stated in the UM Waiver Form

Documents required for Travel

• Guardian’s valid ID*, at origin port
• Guardian’s valid ID*, at destination port
• Minor’s valid ID*
• Unaccompanied Minor Waiver Form
• (If traveling to/from Davao) Permit to Travel for UM between 12 to 15 years old

Persons With Disability (PWDs)

Passengers who may require special assistance depending on the type of disability. They may be entitled to special discounts.

General Guidelines

• Wheelchair Passengers
  
  • If passenger is completely immobile, a traveling companion is required.
  • If passenger is unable to assist their own evacuation, an Accompanying Attendant is required.
  • Shall be boarded first and disembarked last.
• Sensory Disability
  
  • Visually impaired – if unaccompanied, must be able to take care of themselves on the ground and onboard the vessel.
  • Hard of Hearing – will be duly briefed by the Vessel Crew on use of life vest and exit routes.
  • Shall be boarded first and disembarked last.

PWD Discount

• To avail of the PWD discount, kindly proceed to our Corporate Ticketing Outlets and Authorized Retail Outlets.
• Discounts are applicable only to the Base Rate and will not apply to discounted or promo rates.
