You’ll be the guardian of cash flow accuracy, making sure every peso moving in and out of the company is properly recorded and reconciled. By performing thorough bank reconciliations, investigating variances, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, you’ll help keep 2GO’s financial books accurate, reliable, and audit-ready.
What you’ll do (your mission) 🎯
Bank Reconciliation & Ledger Accuracy
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to match cash movements with ledger entries.
- Identify and manage variances, open items, and reconciling differences.
- Communicate reconciling items to other teams for resolution.
Compliance & Quality Checks
- Spot non-compliance in related processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct reasonableness checks on financial results and quantitative data to ensure accuracy.
- Apply GAAP principles to maintain the integrity of the company’s financial records.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all reconciliation activities.
You’ll thrive in this role if you… 🔍
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- Are a fresh graduate or have 1–2 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting (SSC/BPO experience a plus).
- Are familiar with Oracle and have exposure to logistics or shipping industries (an advantage).
- Are skilled in MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Are results-driven and detail-oriented.
