You’ll oversee domestic freight operations — ensuring smooth, on-time movement of containers and shipments. By coordinating with teams, optimizing costs, and maintaining compliance, you’ll keep freight moving efficiently while maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction.
Your Mission 🎯
- Supervise freight operations for FCL, LCL, and direct truck shipments.
- Coordinate booking, loading/unloading, and status updates.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and service standards.
- Collaborate with service providers, transport, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Identify revenue opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with providers.
- Analyze costs, optimize operations, and avoid unbillable expenses.
You’ll thrive in this role if you… 🔍
- Hold a college degree (Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- Bring at least 7 years of logistics experience, with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Have strong leadership, coordination, and negotiation skills.
