Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the warehouse in accordance with operational and new business plans and targets.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily scheduling of warehouse personnel on the assigned shift, to ensure proper staffing in order to receive and dispatch products at the warehouse in a productive and cost effective manner
- Administers duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved
- Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse shift, including dispatching, receiving, replenishments, and inventory control
- Ensures no claims such as but not limited to inventory variances, stock damages, expired stocks, damage to customer assets, penalties, etc against the company are incurred.
- Recommend to the warehouse manager initiatives which may improve productivity and cost efficiency, increase revenue or avoid revenue leakages, and generate cost savings.
- Ensures proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventative maintenance programs and all necessary repairs.
- Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions
- Ensures orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times.
- Ensure that all incidents/accidents are covered by Nonconformity Handling Tools / NHT and reported within 24hours from the time of incident/accident.
- Ensures GWP (Good Warehousing Practices) is being implemented
- Handles special projects or added-value services and prepared corresponding billings.
- Prepare weekly accrual or revenue and monthly billings for submission to Finance
- Assist Inventory Team in conducting cycle count/inventory count
- Answer to queries of all departments.
- Enforces all company work and safety rules.
- Communicates and implements change as directed.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforcing all Company work rules and regulations
- Ensure efficient use of resources.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of relative supervisory work experience
- Preferably, with warehousing and logistics background
- MHE operation and maintenance
- Familiar with system application usage
