Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and project manage specific, prioritized improvement projects against the most important areas for operations performance improvement in the areas of vessel operations, container yard management, container handling equipment, hotel housekeeping, hotel food & beverage, passenger terminal, equipment resource management, and claims.
  • Conduct and act upon impact assessments to quantify risks to operations performance.
  • Lead the implementation of new business opportunities that will enhance both the profitability and reputation of the shipping business.
  • Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
  • Managing internal and external customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • 5 years relevant experience in logistics and vessel operations
  • Experience in people management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
