Job Summary:
The Cross-dock Manager oversees the entire operation in a cross-dock facility. To ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods from inbound to outbound. Responsible for managing people, optimizing processes, safety, and good warehousing practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans warehouse layout, product flow, and handling systems; recommends equipment and process improvements.
- Enhances cross-dock operations by analyzing workflows, manpower, space, and equipment needs; implements changes.
- Leads cost reduction initiatives across operational activities.
- Prepares and monitors annual budgets; analyzes variances and takes corrective action.
- Ensures accurate and timely customer billing; addresses revenue leakages.
- Reviews monthly P&L, analyzes results, prepares action plans, and reports to senior management.
- Oversees daily operations to ensure timely task execution and KPI achievement.
- Manages staffing, scheduling, and follow-up on performance.
- Ensures orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time.
- Maintains security and safety protocols across cross-dock operations.
- Oversees equipment maintenance and ensures safe, efficient tools for warehouse personnel.
- Implements Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) and promotes staff motivation and training.
- Enforces company policies, including work and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree holder
- At least 3 or more years related experience
- Must have warehouse and transport management experience
- Must be willing to work in Elisco, Taguig City
- Can start ASAP
