Job Purpose:
The Energy Efficiency Manager will lead the Fuel and Management Team within the Ship Management Division. This role is responsible is to establish economical fuel consumption per vessel , benchmark for better fuel and lube available in the market that can be used for the fleet. Implement, energy efficiency initiatives of the energy efficiency team to optimize fuel consumption, reduce emissions, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish fuel and lube consumption per category for each vessel.
- Cost /Vol of fuel and lube consumption is within bgt
- Create fuel and Lube consumption forecast for use by Procurement for their procurement strategies.
- Create Dashboard on Fuel and Lube Establish strategies and implement projects to support efficiency in fuel and lube management.
- Implement relevant improvements on control and safety conduct of Surveyor Functions Collaborate with Energy Efficiency manager for researches on fuel and lube products that can be adopted for the fleet, considering all important features and limitations.
- Regular 3rd party analysis of fuel and lube form vessel stores/ system
- Communicate any laboratory findings on fuel and lube to Enegry Efficiency and Technical Services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Engineering Petrochemical , IE at least
- 5 years of management level experience
- Familiarity in Fuel and Lube Properties, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Analysis Project Management, Marine Engineering- machinery and Generator Systems
