Your Mission 🎯
Operational Planning & Coordination
- Plan manpower and equipment deployment.
- Monitor cargo and equipment transfers for timeliness.
- Coordinate with CY Operations to maximize yard utilization.
- Communicate closely with service providers and departments to avoid delays.
Security, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce security policies and run disaster recovery drills.
- Ensure proper documentation of assets.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with yard practices, regulations, and SLAs.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Track KPIs (truck availability, hustling efficiency, empty container release).
- Monitor service providers for quality performance.
- Review reports to resolve issues and enhance processes.
Team Development & Budget Management
- Identify training needs with HR.
- Monitor expenses and stay within budget.
- Provide operational direction and feedback to staff.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You… 🔍
- Hold a degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Have 3–5 years of experience in container yard, port, or shipping operations.
- Understand yard planning, regulations, and cargo handling.
- Excel in leadership, people management, and communication.
- Can combine planning with hands-on problem-solving.
