Crossdock Manager

Job Summary

• The Cross Dock Manager oversee the entire operation in a crossdock facility. To ensure the efficient and timely movements of goods from inbound to outbound. Responsible in managing people, optimization of process, safety and good warehousing practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The role involves overseeing and optimizing crossdock and warehouse operations by designing efficient layouts, managing product flow and handling systems, and implementing cost-reduction programs. Responsibilities include evaluating and recommending new equipment and processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing, monitoring revenue streams for potential leakages, and managing the P&L with monthly reviews and action plans for senior management. The position ensures timely execution of daily operations, order fulfillment, and achievement of KPIs while maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs. It also includes enforcing safety and security protocols, ensuring compliance with Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), scheduling and supervising staff, and fostering a motivated workforce through continuous training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, Engineering preferably
• 5 years related experience in Cross dock and warehouse operations
