Data Protection Supervisor

Job Summary

• This role is instrumental in supporting and improving the risk and privacy programs within 2GO.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating and Compliance Monitoring

• Communicate risk and privacy activities, requirements, and other relevant matters to internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor and follow-up internal and third-party compliance to communicated requirement

Program Management

• Assist in the furtherance of 2GO’s risk and privacy programs
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of internal monitoring tools
• Assist in the development of privacy training for the workforce and vendors
• Assist in activities to foster information privacy awareness within the organization
• Assist in the management of privacy disputes and complaint investigations
• Respond to data subject and third-party requests concerning personal data and facilitating the processing of requests internally

Audit

• Assist in conducting periodic monitoring reviews to identify deficiencies in the adherence to privacy policies and procedures.
• Work with departments and vendors to develop appropriate action plans to mitigate deficiencies
• Assist in determining the effectiveness of the risk and privacy programs

Administrative

• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of administrative record keeping requirements
• Assist in preparing correspondences, reports, and the like to support the teams’ processes
• Lead and/or assist in the development of metrics and dashboards that support risk and privacy policies
• Identify and recommend ways to improve work processes of the risk and privacy teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related vocations;
• 3-5 years’ experience in Compliance, Privacy, Audit or Risk Management;
• Knowledge of the Philippines’ Data Privacy Act
• Good understanding of privacy, risk, or compliance frameworks
