Logistics Systems Supervisor

Job Summary

  • The Logistics Systems Supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting system issues and coordinating with the IT teams, System vendors and Logistics System leader for resolution. They monitor system performance, track service agreements with service providers, and assist in implementing and maintaining system functionalities. The role involves conducting Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for system updates, providing feedback for process improvements, and analyzing data for system enhancements. They also track initiatives, maintain system records, train end-users, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with IT,
  • System Vendors, and the Logistics System leader for resolution.
  • Course / Program Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Monitor system performance daily, identifying potential issues and reporting findings to the Logistics System leader.
  • Provide feedback to Operations Excellence, Operations Leaders and other teams on system-driven process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Service Provider team to track system-related service agreements and vendor performance and related concerns
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of system functionalities, ensuring alignment with operational processes and business needs.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis to support recommendations for system enhancements or changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of system configurations, updates, and user feedback.
  • Conduct Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for new system features or updates to ensure functionality and alignment with requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, audit, regulatory and other requirements related to system usage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in system administration, support, or coordination roles, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
