As a Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth—building strong client relationships, securing key accounts, and developing winning strategies to expand market share. Your expertise in sales and account management will ensure 2GO meets and exceeds revenue targets while delivering value to customers and outpacing the competition.
Your Mission 🎯
Sales Growth & Revenue Achievement
- Actively generate sales volume based on weekly, monthly, and annual revenue targets per customer, voyage, and port.
- Plan and execute specific sales strategies per customer to cover peak and lean months, ensuring consistent target achievement.
- Grow market share of assigned accounts, regain lost business, and develop new opportunities.
Account Management & Business Development
- Visit existing accounts regularly and conduct sales meetings and presentations.
- Scout and acquire new customers, including those with competitors.
- Maintain and update shipper accounts and sales records.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Prepare and update total market volume for assigned accounts, submitting to the Group Sales Manager for budget planning.
- Submit updated customer lists with potential volume per port versus 2GO’s share and competitors.
- Assist in implementing marketing promotions, campaigns, and events.
Quotations, Pricing & Credit
- Prepare freight rate quotations for new accounts and coordinate approvals through Group/Area Sales Manager and Pricing.
- Review shippers’ credit applications, ensuring completeness of documentation before endorsement.
Collections & Reporting
- Ensure collection of receivables is up-to-date; aggressively pursue overdue accounts.
- Arrange account reconciliations when required.
- Review and evaluate weekly freight revenue and volume performance.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales itineraries and activity reports.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You 🔍
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Bring at least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in logistics, shipping, or related industries.
- Have strong business intelligence, revenue generation, and forecasting skills.
- Excel in customer intelligence, segmentation, and sales call plan management.
- Possess excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Are self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of handling key accounts with confidence.
