Senior Procurement Manager – Construction & Corporate

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the implementation of procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money. Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts. Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business. Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business. Analyze market and delivery trends to be able to develop procurement strategies and processes that support those trends.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, management, and performance of data driven sourcing strategies and programs within his/her Category, to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Create & implement procurement strategies that will ensure acceptable and/or guarantee security of supply of assigned categories.
  • Research and benchmark current market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges. Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the market to ensure best value and practices are maintained.
  • Perform procurement reporting and analysis of management information to identify and create potential improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and leverage cost savings opportunities, opportunities in Procurement and business process and tools.
  • Develop and maintain supply risk assessments and drive supply risk mitigation activities.
  • Collaborate with the business units and suppliers to lead sourcing projects and savings initiatives.
