Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of leased warehouse buildings and equipment. This role ensures that all electrical, civil, and mechanical aspects not covered by the lessor are maintained efficiently. The supervisor will coordinate with lessor representatives, service providers, and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of company-owned trucks through various service providers. Ensure all vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Coordinate with procurement for the services and materials needed for fleet maintenance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for the fleet. Ensure timely and effective preventive maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Coordination with Service Providers: Communicate and coordinate with service providers for maintenance and repair services. Ensure service providers meet quality and performance standards.
- Driver and Helper Management: Coordinate with manpower service providers for the sourcing and management of drivers and helpers. Monitor attendance and performance of drivers and helpers. Provide training and support to drivers and helpers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Manage the petty cash fund for daily operational needs. Ensure all expenses are accounted for and within budget. Prepare and manage the fleet maintenance budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fleet operations comply with safety and regulatory standards. Coordinate with government agencies and other departments regarding regulatory compliance.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts. Ensure timely procurement of necessary supplies and parts.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the fleet maintenance team. Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for fleet-related incidents. Ensure the team is trained and prepared to handle emergencies.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Prepare regular reports on fleet performance and maintenance activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving fleet maintenance processes and practices. Implement best practices to enhance fleet efficiency and performance.
- Gas Consumption Monitoring: Monitor gas consumption of the fleet to ensure efficient usage.
- Cost Monitoring: Monitor costs associated with fleet maintenance and operation to ensure they are within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Management Course
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ related experience
- Amenable to work in Elisco, Taguig City
- Must be willing to start ASAP
