How To Travel With Your Pet
Sailing with a pet is simple when you’re prepared. Follow our step by step guide to ensure a safe and comfortable trip for you and your companion!
STEP 1: Book your ticket through the 2GO website, app or outlet stores.
STEP 2: Prepare your pet’s travel documents. Make sure you have the right-sized carrier for your pet!
STEP 3: Before your trip, go to the 2GO Corporate Ticketing Office at your departure port terminal to fill out the Pet Travel Form.
STEP 4: On the day of your trip, be at the port 6 hours before departure for pet inspection. Submit your pet’s travel documents and Pet Travel Form, and our team will check your pet to make sure they have enough food and water for the trip.
STEP 5: After inspection, your pet is officially checked in for their trip! Our pet care team will handle and guide them to the pet area on board, where you can be reunited after departure.
Required Documents – Accompanied Pet
- Veterinary Health Certificate (VHC)
- Pet Vaccination Card (VC) or Pet Passport with latest deworming and rabies vaccination.
- Shipping Permit (SP) and/or Local Transport Permit (LTP)
- Signed Consent and Waiver Form – Carriage for Accompanied Pet
- Provision of Pet Food, medication (if any) and water for the duration of voyage.

Terms and Conditions for Pet Travel
- Rates apply to accompanied pets and are VAT inclusive.
- One pet per cage only.
- Separate rates for 2 pets and below, and for 3 pets or more.
- If a passenger has 3 or more pets, they may avail of the lower rates for the 2 cages, and the higher rate will apply to the succeeding count.
- The rate applies per individual passenger.
Reminders
- Livestock are not allowed onboard except for fighting cocks. However, passengers carrying fighting cocks must still secure quarantine certificates from the Bureau of Animal Industry and a Bill of Landing.
- Pets and other animals (except for endangered species) are allowed on the vessel provided that they are properly caged and with Quarantine Certificates from the Bureau of Animal Industry and a Bill of Landing.
- The Carrier shall not be liable for any death, injury to or loss, sickness/illness of the pets and other animals unless such is proven to be due to the fault of the Carrier.
- Only vessels coming from and to Manila (except M/V 2GO Masigla) accept pet travel.
