Position Details

Summary

This role entails to build a collaborative planning process from stakeholders that hold commercial information regarding volume entering to the network and establish independent analysis and route design methods that prove to be critical in setting network efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of connected planning framework with the goal of establishing network coverage from First Mile to Reverse Logistics.
  • Established process to do periodic workflow optimization that aims to achieve optimal network coverage and operational improvement.
  • Perform routine route re-engineering and design to optimize transport movement based on the volume trends and concentrations.
  • Come up with resource planning for operation on the resource requirements on the granular level including vehicle type with volume metric weight capacity vs volume concentration, process trends and predictability.
  • Network transport connection to established service and facility cut off times.
  • Develop end to end route design to come up with high-level pick-up plan, Linehaul milk run and point-point combination and last mile coverage base on the network capacity and lead time commitment.
  • Assessment of unproductive routes across network.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years’ experience in Demand Forecasting and Capacity Planning with history of improving network efficiencies. Logistics or Express industry experience is a plus.
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
