Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the warehouse in accordance with operational and new business plans and targets.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily scheduling of warehouse personnel on the assigned shift, to ensure proper staffing in order to receive and dispatch products at the warehouse in a productive and cost effective manner
  • Administers duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved
  • Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse shift, including dispatching, receiving, replenishments, and inventory control
  • Ensures no claims such as but not limited to inventory variances, stock damages, expired stocks, damage to customer assets, penalties, etc against the company are incurred.
  • Recommend to the warehouse manager initiatives which may improve productivity and cost efficiency, increase revenue or avoid revenue leakages, and generate cost savings.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, providing both preventative maintenance programs and all necessary repairs.
  • Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution functions
  • Ensures orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times.
  • Ensure that all incidents/accidents are covered by Nonconformity Handling Tools / NHT and reported within 24hours from the time of incident/accident.
  • Ensures GWP (Good Warehousing Practices) is being implemented
  • Handles special projects or added-value services and prepared corresponding billings.
  • Prepare weekly accrual or revenue and monthly billings for submission to Finance
  • Assist Inventory Team in conducting cycle count/inventory count
  • Answer to queries of all departments.
  • Enforces all company work and safety rules.
  • Communicates and implements change as directed.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforcing all Company work rules and regulations
  • Ensure efficient use of resources.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of relative supervisory work experience
  • Preferably, with warehousing and logistics background
  • MHE operation and maintenance
  • Familiar with system application usage
